Pink pepper smoothie with tomato and strawberry

These are the ingredients you need

6 large ripe vine tomatoes - 500 g strawberries - 1 tbsp sugar - 2 tsp pink peppercorns - ½ lemon (juice)

Preparation

Bring a pan of water to the boil and prepare a bowl with ice water (ice cubes + water). Cut a shallow cross on the bottom of the tomatoes. Put them in the boiling water for 15 seconds. Remove the tomatoes from the boiling water and immediately transfer to the ice water bath. When the tomatoes have cooled, peel off the skins. Remove the crowns from the strawberries and cut the lemon in half. Puree the peeled tomatoes with the strawberries, pink peppercorns, sugar and lemon juice. Divide the smoothie between four glasses and garnish with a sliced strawberry on the rim of the glass if desired.
