A pipe network laid specifically for this project supplies the 190-ha horticultural area with sustainable energy. This means that Van Adrichem no longer needs to buy in gas. The company also benefits from the fact that Westdorpe regularly has the highest recorded temperatures in the Netherlands and that Zeeland is the Dutch province with the most hours of sunlight per year. Here at this location, less energy is being used to produce a special natural product.
